German owned toilet roll supplier Wepa has stick piled 3.5 million rolls to prepare for a no deal Brexit

The U.K. Use's a relatively large amount of toilet roll compared to other nations

Each British person use's 110 rolls per year

Two and a half times more than the European average

On an ordinary day the UK only has a days supply of toilet roll in storage and it is at particular risk to a disruptive no deal scenario

tis a sad state of affairs imho

No body told me if we voted Brexit that there would be a toilet roll shortage / embargo

Tis a total disgrace tbh

This could also be partly responsible.

Way I see it this toilet roll caper could be a pretty good reason to call this Brexit caper off and revoke article 50

Not sure I follow. I wipe my backside on crisp red sheets.

Be that as it may and each to there own

Way I see it if this Brexit happens

You will find thousands of people wandering around with only one sock on  as they had to use a sock when they were taken short

Tis not a laughing matter tbh

Give over

I can't believe that I use a bog roll a week? That would be 52a half the "average"?

yes, I've seen that.

You'll remember the Secretary for Health said the NHS was stockpiling medicines, and was the world's biggest customer for fridges. Maybe their hoarding is causing the shortage.

Rice-Pudd said we should be over the worst of Brexit after 50 years.

I wonder how much they're stocking?

All warehouse and chilled storage capacity in the country is now filled or reserved. If you try to rent some, there's none to be had.

Have you filled your loft with toilet rolls? At any one time, the UK distribution system contains two day's worth of supply. One day's worth on the shelves of shops, and one day in trucks and warehouses on its way to replenish the shops for tomorrow.

I'm sure there is no problem and everything is fine.

I'm indian trained. So I'll be fine...

Do you remember millennium. Pubs and clubs were charging far to much for entry. People decided to stay at home to party . New year for the pubs and clubs have never recovered as people stay at home more now to celebrate.

If we have to adopt the Indian method, there may be no turning back.
