Google (one of JohnD's favourite company’s) are currently building a $1 billion technology campus in Kings Cross, London - the building is huge, 312m long. KIngs Cross generally is being transformed from a seedy drug and prostitute ridden area into a tech hub and the transformation has been rapid. Facebook have also leased some 60,000 square metres of space in three buildings in Kings Cross.

You are making the point that not everything has gone bust.

What a great slogan! put it on the side of a bus!

have Ree-Smogg's Irish competitors set up a subsidiary in Britain?

Have many banks moved from Frankfurt to London?

Has Dyson built a new factory in Durham?

....have you not packed up and left for Euroland yet? No such luck!

That'll be why they'll be halting production in November then?

Along with Toyota and BMW...

Same as Goldman Sachs they have enough money to change their mind if they think they living with a damp squid.

Goldman already sold and leased back their offices - do keep up.

Google last quarter income was a shade under $10bn - they could walk away from their office building.

That's my point but they havnt

So your best defence of Brexit are two companies that have enough cash and international clout to ride out the worst of any Brexit scenario. Both leaders in their industries.

Why don't you take note of what their CEO's said about Brexit.

What do banks produce apart from debt.

Ask me that next time you want to borrow some money to buy a house or car.

Or when you want to send funds overseas or pay for something online.
