To the acid doubters: It doesn’t matter that it was only harmless milkshake, or that it can’t have been acid because acid would melt cardboard, or that there are more convincing acid-lookalike liquids; these are all missing the point by miles. The act was symbolic, it was political, and it was a threat.

Symbolic because it represented what some muslims have done to people they don’t like; political because it was done as a show of strength (look what we can get away with) and a threat because it was saying “if you don’t stop we will eventually throw acid in your face”.

If TR did punch someone then they probably deserved it, if someone threw a drink over you what would you do?
John Prescott punched a bloke who threw an egg at him, it is completely normal reaction to aggression.
If psychically attacking politicians because you don't like their politics is okay then were do you draw the line.
Personally I think Tommy is a government shill,a paid agent provocateur but that doesn't justify attacking him.

Many people do not want muslims in Britain and believe it was a mistake ever letting them in - Tommy, despite his faults, is the only person in the public eye brave enough to make this dangerously controversial point

There are 3 million Muslims living in the UK.

Making the point that many people dont want muslims here is rather futile.

Following the argument that people dont want Muslims here is really just inciting hatred.

Surely any symbolism would have been the aping of the milkshake event the day before. A threat? How did the fellow know that TR would actively search him out and approach him?

What next? Someone throws an egg and TR claims that he thought it might have been a hand grenade?

There is no suggestion that the Bury milkshake slinger was muslim. Assuming that the person was christian we could take your statement and swap the words muslim with christian.

Edit----------

And the fact that his goons have reportedly been "confiscating" milkshakes from members of the crowd suggests that they are trying to protect his dignity rather than protecting his physical well being.

I suspect that the number of milkshake incidents will increase, not because of some supposed or imagined muslim fatwa but because it will be perceived as a humorous and non harmful ways of making him look silly.

And the more often it happens, the more it debases the TR can claim to be worried about people (sorry, muslims) throwing acid at him. TR will look like a muppet if he has to resort to asking his followers to help pay for his dry cleaning bills.

Years from now, when TR is serving yet another prison sentence for fraud/assault/etc, people taking part in pub quizzes will be asked to name the publicity seeking right wing extremist that became famous for being perpetually covered in milkshake.

The government controlled police puppets wont take any action against the person who carried out the assault, but his face is now out there, people know who he is,, KARMA.

Reality is tommy fans are all talk.

Anyway that kid deserves a knighthood!

Cyril Smith assaulted a load of kids in Rochdale and he got a knighthood so there are precedents.

Ill tell you one thing, had that guy thrown milkshake in my face I would not stop hitting him til his face was a bloody mess!
Yet I'm not running for any political office.
