Several countries in the Balkan region are members of NATO:
However, not all Balkan countries are members of NATO. Serbia, for example, is not a member and has maintained a policy of military neutrality.
- Albania joined NATO on April 1, 2009.
- Bulgaria joined NATO on March 29, 2004.
- Croatia joined NATO on April 1, 2009.
- Greece joined NATO on February 18, 1952.
- Montenegro joined NATO on June 5, 2017.
- North Macedonia joined NATO on March 27, 2020.
- Romania joined NATO on March 29, 2004.
- Slovenia joined NATO on March 29, 2004.
- Turkey joined NATO on February 18, 1952.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has been in negotiations to join NATO since 2008 and was invited to join the Membership Action Plan in April 2010, but its accession has been complicated by internal political factors. Kosovo has also expressed a strong desire to join the alliance, but its disputed status and lack of recognition by some NATO members hinder its progress.

That's not my assertion. I'm making the wider point that, just because something has either never happened or not happened for a long time, doesn't mean it can't at some point in the future. So we should remain fully prepared. Hard fought for freedoms and all that.So who do you think would invade the UK and for what reasons . WW3 is a high possibility though

Turkey in the Black Sea, and Romania if you count Crimea as Russian.o which of them actually border russia

Correct. Not all bordering Russian countries are considered Balkan states, and not all Balkan states border Russia
Yep a you better get the kilt cleaned and the blue war paint ready for the invasion of England you just never know what might happenThat's not my assertion.
