155 is standardised accross NATO so that any country can supply another different weapons use different shells but the 155 is still widely used and universal. Only the Navy doesnt use it on ships.

Poor old notch doesnt understand that russia still has one of the top economies in the world

Notch will be upset that we are not making money selling them to the swiss navy

It doesn't matter how many artillery shells Russia has if NATO air superiority means they can't get close enough to use them.

Sanctions have dented the Russian economy very little. In fact he insists all payments are made in the Russian Ruble

the normal working man/woman are now on fantastic wages in the arms factories .

Why air superiority? that will mean very little in a fight against Russia, it will be boots on the ground that count

Because air superiority would mean that any Russian artillery pieces within a hundred miles at least of the front line will get blown up.

Really now where are most of nato`s fighter aircraft based . How many actual fighter aircraft are in europe

Even in the early days of the conflict, Ukrainian officers told how the Russian troops were sent forward in WWII style wave attacks with no regard for casualties. If NATO forces were treated that way the public outcry would be loud and clear. Russian equipment was poor: they used ordinary mobile phones to communicate, for instance, easily intercepted by Ukrainian tracking.

Conscription is v. unpopular in Russia and only Putin's police and security forces keep the public in line with their conduct of the war.

A war that's been ongoing since 2014, don't forget. The whole shebang kicked off when Putin invaded Crimea and Ukraine is expected to hand it over without complaint in order to resume peaceful relations and give up it's bid for EU and NATO membership.

Peace without honour is no way to end the conflict from their point of view.
Ukraine was very close to descending into civil war back in 2014. I'm not so sure that Russia invaded Crimea, I have a feeling they were welcomed in by the primarily Russian speaking inhabitants.
Much like the Donbas region 8 years later.
