daft as it sounds,i would say not, as you will be inclined to put a towel on it (told you it was daft)
mrs breezer keeps putting towels on the bathroom rad, yes towel is warm for all of 3 seconds when you pick it up, but rad heats towel not room, so our bathroom is often cold
