Triple Lock Plus.

Just heard on the news that average earnings has risen 4.7%. Unless Rachel reneges on the labour pledge to maintain the triple lock plus for state pensions (and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if she did), that will mean an extra £659 onto my state pension. That’ll go some way towards the 'luxury' road tax on our new car. Ker-ching! :mrgreen:
 
I can't see pension age being reduced even if life expectancy is falling. Government (of any colour) can't afford it as it is now, let alone increasing it to an extra number of people.

Would like to see the figures that you think suggest this
