But its highly likely they will not gain control of the senate. So whilst its good for the rest of the world his home affairs are gonna be one long battle.

Yep agree he could have taken the route of throwing in the towel (when it comes) thanking everyone for the support and promising to come back in 4 years to do it 'even better than i ever was before' /facepalm

On this particular one... He needs not leave till Jan 20 anyhow, so let him stew. After that, the powers that be can simply go ahead and govern- the WH is just a building. Then, whilst maybe not wanting to storm the joint with a president in residence, they simply need to let all his klingons know (inc Jarhed, Iwankah, Donny Jr) that when they DO come out, they will be arrested and charged with something nasty. Also let them know via back channels, that it will be very public- orange jumpsuits and irons for the cameras, and no white collar jails for the bail hearings.

that nowhere was from the people counting the votes that people had made, not exactly "nowhere"!

If there is one thing worse than the run up to an election, it's the madness while they are counting. Wish we went back to the days that people voted, people counted, then a winner announced after, without all the speculation, chanting, guess work etc.
