Or would you rather look at how chaos theory was preceeded by catastrophe theory and it mathematical, engineering and sociological applications towards a non-deterministic description of events?

I could get a little Softus on you, cos I've not had a great day, so shall we call it quits with a gentle FO! in the politest possible manner![]()
Ok, had a look, no I don't understand it. but that missing the point entirely, wouldn't that be a good question to ask on a university challenge question? I'm sure you can enlighten us? on the gram-schmidt orthonormalization that is.

I hadn't realised I'd got you Hard!!!
Hey I can still smile, we could alway talk about the nascent effect of the SP2 hybridisation of the oxygen atom when in conjunction of 2 hydrogen atoms, and it's palpable effect on life as we know it, but that would be a bit sad.
Which model do you prefer - the goal-directed (advocated by Skemp et al) or the traditional stimulus-response cognitive model?![]()
I don't know, what proportion are sad old chemistry / physics / engineering graduates? you're the Maths grad, do the stats.
