I am sure anyone doing plumbing has from time to time come across a situation where an unusual tool comes in handy, so thought it might be interesting to find out what you found useful. Here is one from me:
I found a landrover hubnut box spanner (£5 on ebay) fitted a 1 1/4" waste backnut where access was so tight all other tools had too long a lever arm to get access. It saved the client from having to demolish the tiny corner pedestal basin where other peoples abortive attempts to stem a leak left it with half a tub of plumbers mait stuffed around it! Once I got it out, a clean up and a basin mate made light work of a remedy, and the box spanner light work of doing up the otherwise inaccessible backnut
