URGENT Help - Electric Shower Low Pressure Light On

Hi,

I've got a Triton Jade II electric shower just been installed. The low pressure light is constantly on & water cold. The shower is an old one which was installed in my last house & worked fine there. Its been sitting around for about 2 years & now installed having this problem. Can this be a problem with the shower itself or is it in fact the water pressure. The downstairs bathroom taps which run on the same cold water seem to be running fine.

If it is a water pressure problem what I be done about it?

Any advice/ help would be greatly appreciated.

Did the sparky leave it like that!! what you describe would suggest a low water pressure issue

Assuming its not knackered from laying around for a couple of years.

It would seem you have connected it to the domestic water supply ie the storage tank, rather than the the main water supply.

Or it is connected correctly to the main water supply but the mains pressure is inadequate for the shower.

Run the tap and stick your finger over it, if the water stops relatively easily then it is likely from a header tank.
If you get wet then it is mains pressure
