But try this ......
WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. inflation picked up a bit last month as food costs rose, though overall inflation remained mostly tame.
Consumer prices increased 2.4% in May compared with a year ago, according to a Labor Department report released Wednesday. That is up from a 2.3% yearly increase in April. Excluding the volatile food and energy categories, core prices rose 2.8% for the third straight month. Economists pay close attention to core prices because they generally provide a better sense of where inflation is headed.
That's the low inflation
Interesting your opinion visualised some backwoods, phoneless, tech-less Hill Billy and not the millions of inner city poor folk being crushed by Trumps cruel and incompetent fiscal policies.
Affecting the wealthy more my arse.
Lying again.
Not opinion, silly little man. We all see your immediate reversion to
posting straw-man argument excrement because the numbers disagree with you, so far. You really are a disgusting pos aren't you?
They post the numbers. Start reading them instead your own imaginings.
No forum wants you.
2.8% per annum is not high inflation.
Listen to what the FED people are saying. They're highly critical of T and know what they're talking about. They're sill waiting and seeing, and not seeing a significant rise in inflation yet.
I'm no supporter of Trump, but there's a whole mass of made-up junk thrown about.
Obviously those with higher income benefit more from percentage derived tax cuts, that's obvious.
The USA is a capitalist system, so some people get more, get over it. No point arguing against that. It's constructive not evil.
Those earning more pay more tax, and T has measures to give those at the bottom lower amounts or lower rates. Normal really.
The richer are complaining - see SALT tax caps.
If you look through his BBill, there are many things like those caps on SALT taxes, which mean the richer do not benefit more.
Yes he's making the ill pay more, as I said. That's horrible.
He's got a theme of encouraging people to join work schemes rather than sitting on the old hand-out schemes, benefitting as he puts it, the idle.
Just checked the Trump-hostile CHatGPT. Yes egg prices in shops did come down but nowhere near as much as he claimed (400% !!).
Most are expecting the picture to change - so things get worse - it just really hasn't happened yet, and all things considered, it's obviously bogus to pre-announce when it isn't true.
We have to use the numbers put out by the administration, though even Trump is saying they're faked now, when they don't suit him.
