Using a stump grinder

Defintaly don't bank on it though, if it were me I'd be easing off when anyone walks past, just pressure washing the drive people would seemingly happily walk through a haze of dirty water mist.
Indeed. I've seen people on their phones with headphones in just walk through a coned off and signed footpath.
Best practice is to have a spotter keeping an eye out for the dopey effwits.

For one that small I'd just sabre saw at an angle. I have a supply of cheap, long blades that I don't mind sticking into earth for stuff like this, they quickly get messed up but are cheaper than stump grinder hire.
