Vaillant diverter valve Improved design?

I replaced the cartridge to an aqualisa combined bath/shower deck mixer a couple of weeks ago , cost of cartridge was 30% of the cost of replacement unit.
Although there are a few different types of cartridges depending on pressures (grey/pink/black etc) most are interchangeable regardless of gravity/mains/low pressure/unbalanced....
I really don't know why Agile feels the urge to post on matters that he knows nothing about.

Because if he did that he wouldn't need a keyboard

I tested it and my Grohe does not mix any cold water in when set to max temperature. I get 48 degrees from the bath tap maxed out and 48 degrees from the shower set to max temperature. Turning the cold water off to the shower makes no difference to the shower water temperature.
