Have to do an emergency callout today on above boiler. Fault code F32 is showing. F40 has been indicated as well (occasionally). I have not worked on this boiler before.

Help would be most appreciated.

Moderator respect the rules and bow to your magical editing pen.

Reason for email was to allow discussion off the forum on gas related topic for the sake of safety. I can sleep well at night as it is sleep of contentment. I would end up slashing my wrists if someone were to read my post on gas related topic, get it wrong and blow himself up.

Good these's mods ain't they.

I have you're e in my address book anyway

I send you the manual

Give ChrisR a call if you need more info

John I emailed him last night. He is not familair with this boiler either.

I will post your question on Screwfix, there's a couple of BG guys frequents the site

4704412 or 4704407? on the 4704407 an f32 fault code indicates the fan running slow or blocked or in some way a lack of air flow. An f40 fault code is an electrical fault or pressing the reset button without a fault being present on the appliance.

Thats was my thought as well ollski a dirty fan perhaps

At a guess fan venturi, but the f32 fault code points to the same for both models.

Thanks guys for superfast response. Will post the clear when I get to it.

Tahnks for quick backup guys.

Ollski could not find the venturi or the APS on this boiler.

Ollski and Scruff. Fan was not turning.

Fixed same boiler with same faults showing the other week.Found a bit of condesation on board ,(boiler in garage) dried it with hair drier.Sorted.

No sorry....now have a clear picture of the model you went to see and can see why you couldn't see them!, didn't realise it was all electronic. Expensive fan I bet....£170??. Do you mean the fan was not turning because it had no power or was siezed?

Sorry I was too late to help there ... I've been building and fixing puters all day!
Sent you the MI in .pdf for future reference

Ta but we have the MI - this is one where the desciption for the fault code still leaves you wondering what the heck they really mean!
F40 isn't even in there...
