Vapour Proof Conduit

Vapour Proof Conduit can I use normal PVC conduit in an area where there is the possibility of Sparking or should I use normal steel conduit?

Will I need to buy special glands/ grommets/ couplers?

What is the EXACT nature of the installation..

Are you qualified? If not then any work undertaken in a commercial premises would be illegal.

Explosive atmospheres requires solid drawn conduit, and not seam welded.

Expensive.

But, yes.....If you do not have a clue, don't get involved.

Gents, Vapour proof does not necessarilly mean Explosive atmosphere...

No - but as he was asking about vapour proof conduit systems, and special glands etc, it's a reasonable possibility...
