Greetings all,

Getting the oft encountered flashing power LED on my Veritas R8.

Mains voltage and fuse seem ok. When external supply fuse pulled the alarm sounds.

Battery Fuse ok, 11.2V DC measured at PCB terminals. Is this too low?

Doesn't seem too bad for a 12V battery but I've seen other posts mentioning nominal 13.8V.

Any tips appreciated so I don't waste money on a potentially unnecessary battery. Cheers

-------- and write the date fitted on the front.

Replace in 4/5 years unless proved to be needed sooner

New battery (same model as old) fitted as suggested and system now working as normal.
For info:
Old battery on removal: 11.08 V
New battery when fitted: 13.04 V
