Still waiting for these clowns to sort this out but at the same time, I’ve also noticed the opposite side of the house, particularly in the garage has a damp floor down one side and also some skirting in the downstairs wc.

It's the side of our house with approx 100mm of gravel agaisnt the wall, then porclain paving and another 100mm of gravel against the fence. You need to investigate, what is at the other side of that garage wall. If there is soil, gravel, or anything else, above the garage slab level, then moisture will wick through onto the inside of the slab, whenever the weather is wet. If you want it dry, then the water needs to have somewhere, lower, to drain to.
A french drain alongside the slab, would work - just a leaky pipe, dug in, lower than the height of the slab, and able to drain somewhere, where the water can do no harm.

The red line is where the issue's are.Show what it looks like outside in those spots.

Clear the gravel away, and give the water, a lower point to drain to than onto the slab
Re the french drain idea, is it simply remove the gravel and crap etc, put in a pipe with drain holes in it, lower than the path and then put the gravel etc back on top?

Show us a phot of the gravel, especially where its height is relative to the DPC.
Also check all those slabs with a long-ish spirit level to check that they're tipping away from the house rather than towards or just level.
It would be worthwhile to go for a walk the next time it rains heavily. There may be things you weren't aware of happening, e.g. overflowing gutters, blocked drains etc.
That’s just now. Not sure if anything stands out…..

That brickwork towards the middle, looks darker than the rest - it might just be shadow, but if not, it would suggest they are damp.
