Week 30 of the Yellow Vests Protest

No - it will add a risk.
Just like soft French cheese will add a risk, Austrian wine will add a risk, everything we eat or drink or consume in any other way which is imported from anywhere in the world will add a risk, same as home grown/manufactured things will add a risk to our lives, but without risks , nothing would ever have been achieved, so why worry ?

To be fair though, it isnt just as simple as the chlorinated process -the food regulations and animal welfare are both poor standards in the US. It isnt just that there is a risk, its fact that more people die in America per capita due to salmonella poisoning.

the Eu spent years trying to resolve this issue, hence why the trade deal negotiations went on for 7 years without a result.

And that is down to poor food hygiene and nothing else. Re heating food is a big cause of food poisoning, ie, not heating thoroughly, salad is a big cause as well, in fact anything could be a problem. Chlorine can cover up poor food production standards, but so can many other practices. If the eu still allowed chlorine washed chicken, processors of that chicken would not have to state that fact as it is a process only, and the chlorine is not an ingredient so won't be listed. I don't know if all chicken from America is chlorine washed, the only way to ensure you don't have it is don't buy any American chicken, it really is that easy.

If chicken from the good old U S of A does not appeal then you certainly will not fancy Bush Meat.
