Welcome to my kitchen
As you can see it's Victorian and quite tall (10ft). You will notice that the light at the end of the kitchen blown. The light uses a G9 bulb which are very expensive and blow all the time. (The last one was changed 10 days ago. So much for 2000 hours).
Anyway the reason I believe this is happening is because being a kitchen it is steamy, I also use a baby steriliser machine and the steam naturally drifts upwards.
My question is changing the lights to GU10 be better in the long run. Do they resist steam better than G9, or are there any single halogen lights that would tolerate steam better. I am thinking is there a bathroom zone 2 light suitable that's not pig ugly.
