Amazon said they'd put the Tariff effect on their prices, and the WH reacted aggressively. Amaz backed down.
Walmart (worlds biggest retailer they say. They own Asda iirc) said that due to tight margins, prices would have to go up. T has told them they should have "eaten" the higher costs.
Why should they?
Murrica has also reallised they get more important things from China than Rare Earths. Things like drug base materials and small car parts too. Oh dear...
