Wow, you must live in a country that didn't suffer Thatcher's rule, when all the decent social housing was flogged off, way below rebuilding cost price, to the lucky occupants of the time. The councils weren't allowed to use the proceeds to build any more.
Much of it is now in the hands of private landlords.
So which country do you live in?
A country that didn't suffer Thatcher's rule, but suffered from subsequent Labour government's open border policies and economic, social and benefit system mismanagement.
The same government that set the scene for our own tax-paying sons and daughters to struggle and get jack, while some random foreign chancer sneaks in illegally and gets a penthouse suite, gold credit card and free friends and family pass.
Ask yourself this ... how many of the homeless are UK citizens? Then ask how many available flats, bedsits, hostel spaces, are taken up by migrant/asylum seeker/illegal entrants or reserved for them? All at our expense. All the liberal lefty apologists should be ashamed of themselves instead of pointing their bloody fingers.

Ok. Easy to get into the country illegally.
BUT then they go to the benefit office with no valid documents, work record, tax record, national insurance number or anything else, so the miserable bugger behind the desk just says ok here are the keys to penthouse, gold credit card (are they issued by the DWP now?) and free friends and family pass.
You pretend to be foreign and do it if it's so easy.
