What could cause a bathroom permanent live feed to fail?

Had the bathroom remodelled a year or so ago, and they fitted a recessed bathroom cabinet off a permanent live feed. The cabinet had the usual lights, demister and toothbrush etc power.

Well everything in the cabinet failed last week. I genuinely suspected the cabinet in the first instance and have removed it, but as a check, I tested the feed to the cabinet and it’s dead. To make sure, I basically wired the cabinet to another live feed and everything worked again.

I have a spark coming to take a look, but I’m genuinely curious how the fixed live feed to the cabinet can out of the blue, just fail. Any suggestions to satisfy my curiosity welcome.

Fused gone in fused connection unit (spur) in loft or cupboard or adjoining room or airing cupboard?

Oh the cause.....dunno really faulty mirror (maybe it will last a while) weak fuse :?:

Never been so embarrassed. For two reason.
I never even thought to check the fused spur.
And it’s not even the fuse. Its in a storage cupboard and something had knocked against the switch itself, turning it off.

What a riddy for me.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
