Mrs Mottie and I have just 'passed' our lateral flow tests, so now OK to meet with friends for lunch today. :)

As for 'What have I been doing today.'
Snagging a £33m building. Some of the snags are silly little things, like paint on the shadow supports for suspended ceilings, others are things like no fire barrier between walls where cables pass through, tap supplies connected in reverse, suspended ceiling lights are different levels when they should all be the same etc A major one is the HVAC Supposed to be controlled by a central system and despite all the efforts of a number of contractors having a look and twiddling things it still isn't working correctly. A very clever guy came to day, potted around a bit, reset a few settings on the computer system, tried to upload them to the master centre only to find that the central system which controls everything is running the wrong software. So now we have to wait while that is corrected somewhere else.

A day out with friends and dogs in West Mersea. A nice walk along the beach, the dogs had a swim, my dog can dive and retrieve oysters (or oyster shell) from the bottom. A lunch in the Coast Inn and a couple of pints of 'Yo Boy!' Local bitter. A short drive to West Mersea to walk the lunch off then off to the local vineyard and Maria’s vintage tea rooms for a cream tea. Brought a dressed crab back and took it round my mums as a treat for her tea. Just got home. Knackered and full up! A few pictures for anyone interested.

First run in ages today (about 3 months) finally got out there, slow as anything obviously but got a reasonable distance in.
