We have a neighbour/friend who never puts a bin out, prior to lockdown he took all his rubbish and recycling to the tip, a couple of times we have seen him driving off at 8 pm, I think he is either fly tipping or going to public bins with his rubbish

Usually at 8pm we are putting my MIL to bed, sometimes it takes a little longer, normally we do a walking clap on our way home, sometimes its too late, everyone has their reasons

Exactly - everyone has their own reasons and choice. I also clap quietly to myself while I am out but because we're not seen outside with the others banging a bleeding pan means we don't support the NHS and we are unfriendly and not nice neighbours. It's this virtue signalling mentality thing I can't stand mainly, if you're not showing off what you're doing then...

I've seen someone I know in passing shoving his bags of rubbish from his job in a bin at a block of flats (he doesn't live in) quite a few times - at least it's not on the roadside.

Our local skip company is still operating. Had a mini dropped on a job ready for Monday. I don't actually need one for that job but it means I can get rid of loads of crap out of the garage.

Just got back from my mums. Had a call from her earlier. “Ere, come round and take this food parcel I got yesterday - there’s nuffink in there I like. Tried to cancel it but I couldn’t. All I’ve took is two of the biggest 'taters out to bake". In this parcel was a pack of potatoes, Pack of carrots, a bag of oranges, bag of apples, rice, pasta, three tins of beans, three tins of mushroom soup, two cartons of long life milk, tea bags, coffee sachets, a tin of tuna, bottle of shower gel, two toilet rolls, a tin of mushy peas, a loaf of bread and a jar of pasta sauce. Fussy cow! Going to drop it to the MIL's tomorrow.
