What have you been doing today?

Had my blood test last week for PSA on my active surveillance. Last time it was 4.6. Today, I got the call telling me it’s now 3.7. Pukker! :)

Had my blood test, including PSA, Monday last. Still waiting for the result. Last time, it had dropped just below the concern level.

Yes, he is.

Loved every minute.

Taught the kids stuff (think it was the other way round with rugby!), did loads of outdoorsy stuff with them like surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, mountain biking, camping, hill climbing and of course rugby!
More kids should be doing this type of thing rather than stuck in their bedrooms on play stations.

Though I managed to free our jammed multipoint side/back door on Monday, as soon as freed, and still congratulating myself, I had to almost immediately go out to my blood appointment at the docs. Had I had time, I would have taken out lock and multipoint, but.... No one would be home, so I had to just close the door, and remove the handle to provide some security. On my return home, the multipoint had jammed the door again.

I spent hours yesterday, trying to release it again, without success, finally emailed a few locksmith claiming to be able to release such jammed UPVC doors, claiming to be local, for quotes. No replies, then remembered in the high street, we have a cobbler, who claims to cut keys, so thought he might know someone local. He offered to pop round and take a look, claiming to have some expertise. He turned up late afternoon, spotted the door handle at an add angle, and in the way, so I nipped inside, to take the handle off. No idea what he did, but by the time, I'd gone through the house to the back door, it was open. He wouldn't take any payment for it.

This time, I managed to find time to take the lock, plus the entire multipoint system out, before spragging the door shut with timbers, for security, before dashing off to meet Avril in the pub, for a pub meal..

Been to the cinema tonight to see 'Marching Powder' starring chief mockney Danny Dyer. It was…Meh! If they said c**t once, they said it a couple of hundred times. That was one overused word in that film. Still, the seats were fully reclining. Shoes off, feet up, head back and I managed to squeeze a little nap in too.

I’ve got a little bit of work to do over the Olympic park tomorrow and I thought I’d cycle there on my leccy bike so I charged the battery up today. Pumped the tyres up too to 70psi. Took it for a trial run over the allotment tonight. I think I need to harden the skin on my bum up a bit before I try a longer ride. My undercarriage took a right beating on just a ten minute ride - a trip from my house to Stratford is out of the question at the moment!

Busy day, seeing as the weather has been fit....

Taking out the back door's multipoint lock, to just check the gearbox is at fault, it was - and ordering up a replacement.

I'd moved the old Rascal scooter out to the summerhouse, so the new Gravis, could use its space in the hut. The hut access is a little narrow, and involves a lot of shunting back and forth, to do the U turn in, and back out, so I decided the part of my workshop, specially built with a nice wide door, able to store my motorbike, would be a much better/ easier place to store it. Straight in, lots of space, reverse out, onto a nice wide drive. Problem was, I'd built lots of shelves in the area, since I got rid of the bike.

I spent much of the day, clearing the shelves, trying find alternate homes for their content, and dropping the shelving out of the way.

To gain access to the door, blocked by the trailer I'd used last weekend to collect the Gravis mobility scooter. I needed to shunt the caravan forward 10 feet, to move the trailer back where I store that, behind the caravan. I switched the caravan mover on, and got the same error code I got last week, trying to move the caravan. What fixed it last time, was a new set of batteries in the remote, so I tried that, and no change. Began wondering if it might be the leisure battery on its way out, so I dug out my ancient spare, car battery, and some jump leads. That worked, so I swapped batteries over, got the caravan moved, and the trailer back where it belongs.

The Gravis is now parked in my workshop, with power right next to it, for charging.

Raise the seat and move it forward so that the wider part engages with your sit bone and your legs are just off full stretch at the bottom of the pedal stroke.

But yes it takes about 6 weeks to leather up yer twernt

Had to pop over the velodrome today for a bit of quality control work. Had my lunch watching people go round and round. I took this photo:

No prizes, just for fun, who can work out the angle of the bends by studying the photo. Show your workings too.

Did my bit for the neighbourhood this afternoon by digging over a patch of ground that the council had just cleared of weeds and I planted some daffodil bulbs. The ladies up the top planted some shrubs there too and I’ve put out a request for more plants. We're going to adopt it to brighten the road up - this'll be the third community patch we have. Again, I found a large knife hidden at the base of that tree stump - I found one last year when I was litter picking the same area. I binned it. While I was at it, I gave the post box a once-over with a soapy rag. Done my dicky shoulder a power of good - not!

Coming along. Daffs out now, bluebells following soon plus others. I’ve seeded it with British wild flower seeds too.

Normally around 45 degrees, bigger tracks need less though. Gravity vs angular momentum/centripetal force.
