Fasta fix boxes are for use in plaster board stud partition walls. Scutch chisels are for use on hard masonry walls. You would never use a combination of the two on the same socket.
All the options have already been given to the OP depending on what type of wall he has.
If you have crumbly walls and you can't get rawlplugs in, then buy a bag of undercoat plaster, mix in a bit of cement, slap on your back box and hey presto! (That's Italian for quick bit of work).
