Yes, it beat the Atkins diet for effective weight loss. I wonder why no-one has marketed the Auschwitz diet?

I'm a bit surprised there are no theme parks with actors in stripey pyjamas, rubber 'cadavers' piled high, the smell of burning flesh. Maybe that is one step too far even for crass commercialism. "Hi Dear, we've done Disneyland in Paris, now we're doing Final Solution Land in Poland."

Modern day Auschwitz is a macabre theme park. It was built after the war to fool the dummies. They even had a plaque saying 4 million perished there. An out and out lie. That plaque has since been removed, even though it was there forty forty five years. Disgraceful. If the Jews were willing to lie about the death of two and a half MILLION people - they'll lie about anything.

It's all a big con trick. Thanks to people like noseall starting these threads - more and more people will ask "Did it really happen?" Well I say do some research to prove Joe-90 wrong. In the process - you'll prove him right.

The issue is who actually cares? Aside from those with a vested interest, does 'the man on the Clapham omnibus' actually even think about it much (if at all)? Certainly not a topic of conversation which comes up in the various social circles I frequent unless there is some media item which highlights the topic. IMHO, we have become somewhat 'numb' to it all partly due to the plethora of films, documentaries and historical dramas on the subject [which seem to have been re-running constantly on certain channels], partly due to more recent atrocities which are 'fresher' in peoples minds and predominantly because WW2 is getting to be a distant memory for the modern generations.

That's not to say, on a personal basis, I don't care but I am making the point about people in general (by people I mean those who don't have any vested interest) Moreover, much was known about the camps during the war and there is a suggestion that some of that attitude prevailed even then. That goes for The US as much as Britain.

Whilst debate is always a good thing, does whether it happened as portrayed or not actually mean anything to the majority?

BTW, don't you think that it is a bit coincidental that all the so-called death camps were liberated by the Russians? The Allies liberated 12 - and found no death camps. The Ruskies liberated 8 and claimed they were all death camps. Use you intellect mate. It was all a set up. They rebuilt Auschwitz. Do some research.

Anne Frank survived Auschwitz and so did her dad. He was even treated for burns in the AUSCHWITZ HOSPITAL. Err hello?? A death camp with a hospital and a library and a theatre and an orchestra for the inmates? Wise up guys - you are being conned and taken for fools.
