I'd have to leave them there till this things run its course.

Bringing them home to the UK could spread it faster and infect people here .....a tough decision but I'd Leave them there, give them what support is possible but not risk people's lives here more than necessary.

I certainly would not be letting them loose - all straight into quarantine (like dogs with rabies) lol
May be draconian, may ruffle the lefties but we don't want it here.

Problem is, the Chinese that have already come from there will not be letting any authorities know, if they get ill they will hide it. (or so the tv would have me believe).

We cannot trust the official sources of infection rates. People in the know are suggesting the death toll is much higher.
It is either as reported, in which case the risk is quite low and they can remain or it is far more deadly, in which case they should remain.

I think there is something we're not being told, saw pictures in one report of villagers sealing off the roads into the village with blocks.

Ignore it. Come the next big news story it will be forgotten about, like all the other killer diseases that were going to wipe us out.

That may be true, but it doesn't tell us what the infection rates and the survival rates are. It just tells us how scared people are.

The process for this is fairly developed. Screening at airports for any symptoms, instructions to stay isolated for a bit more than the suspected incubation period for those without and a practiced system for tracking down any contacts to ensure that if you do come down with it you can find and isolate anyone you've infected.

Its one of the things that developed countries with strong medical services do quite well and get to practice with less scary, but more common, diseases.

Heck, we had people with Ebola come back from Africa during the outbreak and managed that. This is more contagious but less dangerous.

That is a real possibility, China did suppress news of SARS at the time. Hopefully that's not the case now.

We could of course use that £350m a week to build loads more hospitals to care for the victims...

The JCB boss is a great supporter of brexit, so he could put his machinery where his mouth is...

And tim withered spoon could provide the catering...

Problem sorted!

Oops...

Of course I forgot the fact that many of those EU NHS staff members are leaving in their droves!
