Are Plumbfix any good? What are their prices like? Have you used them?

I tried to register, but their web site is under construction.

are you a plumber ect ?

bit cheaper than screwfix
free delivery is £100 or over.

can't fault them, but then i've never been let down by screwfix.

extremely good service
darren my rep rings twice a month without fail to see if i need anything didn't give him an order for 12 months (didn't need anything) and he still rang without fail for a chat, because he did he got my last order without question.
will PM you his number (now on your profile regards kev)

Yes, I am a plumber.

Thanks for the replies, and the contact details Kevindgas.

I have used Screwfix for general plumbing fittings etc, and very often found them cheaper (sometimes by a lot) than my local merchants. I still use the merchants for more specialist stuff.

Never had a problem with Screwfix, and find that the free delivery saves time and aggro.

Will have a look at the site when its up and running.

you need to ring plumbfix and get them to send you a catalogue. They ask for your gas safe (or other professional body) number to confirm you are in the trade.

don't need to register if your already with screwfix your plumbfix account is the same as your screwfix account.
they should of already send you a cat and your plumbfix card etc.

although it is now owned by Kingfisher who own B&Q. The guy who set up Screwfix then set up Toolstation or so I have been told.

Plumfix is 10% cheaper on all items.
regards Jonathan

I recently used Screwfix to tot up an order online - came to about £1,000. Then ordered it on Plumbfix instead. Saved 23%. Was a mix of stuff across the board for a job
