Why Are People So Stupid?

They are feeling "violated" about digestive biscuits.

Why?

Because someone has looked up the history of the biscuit, that it was introduced as an aid to digestion, the bicarb being the key ingredient.

Has nobody told these people that many baked goods have bicarb in and in any case, in very small proportions.

I just don't get it.

We watched a programme last week which is called, "How is it made?". A very informative series on Quest and they covered the making of the chocolate digestive last week were they mentioned this fact. If you watch these programmes you can find out a lot of things you didn't know.
As for feeling violated? I suggest they don't read the list of ingredients on any food packets or they won't need the digestives ingredients to help with their bowels!
