Uhm, no it won't. If the switch is off, it's off.

the ONLY way the switch would change is if you moved the switch wire from L1 to L2 AT THE SWITCH.. swapping at the light makes no differnce..

Which is assuming a two-way switch, which is not always the case (not that I see much point in buying one-way switches).

But.. we're talking about the rose, here. Swapping the wires in the rose will make no difference.

FGS The switch can only operate the other way round if you move a wire on a two-way switch.
