My father got an RT310 to replace a faulty RT300. The 300 has just two terminals/two pins. The connected wirees are marked “L” and “SL” on the backplate.
Salus themselves said to me it’d be easy to change but I’m puzzled by it and don’t want to do anything wrong. Can anyone advise?
I believe the (old) unit just gets powered from its 2x AA battery. It doesn’t have a high voltage connection. There’s one of these in each room for an underfloor heating system. It’s their living room one that’s faulty hence hoped to swap it for my elderly parents this afternoon. It looks a bit like the 310 needs a 3 wire connection.. or am I mistaken?
TIA
