At a men's football match, the roar of the crowd resembles thunder.

At a women's football match, the 'roar' of the crowd resembles a flock of angry seagulls fighting over chips. It's horrible. Make them stop.

I hadn't noticed.

But I'll have a listen tonight.

The worst I have ever heard was when they used to show the England vs Scotland boys match. It was piercing.

I'm usually quite sensitive to these things, so I am surprised I haven't noticed.

It will probably drive me mad now!!

Apart from that, are you enjoying the football. I've really got into it this time.

I dont watch football very often these days but I have watcbed some of the ladies games over the last year or so. I think it's great they're playing but tbh I find the standard of play pretty poor.

I hardly watch football these days. I don't know why I am enjoying this so much. They would probably all lose to a Vauxhall Conference men's team. But I also enjoy women's tennis and athletics even though I know they can't compete with men. The only really poor play I have noticed is a number of badly misplaced passes which I haven't seen before. I mean simple passes going straight into touch etc.

Better than that racket from constant Vulva-slayer blowing, during the 2014 World Cup.

I went to a 'football match' in NZ a few years back and I realised that only Brits know how to do football chants properly. Sorry Kiwis, but you're so bad at it. For example:
'CLAP CLAP
CLAP CLAP CLAP
CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP...'
is supposed to be followed by a TWO syllable team name!!
It doesn't work with 'KNIGHTS!'

We tried to teach you, but you just didn't get it.

Admit it, you've just clapped it out! Lol

I think they are quite skilful, but a bit lost on a man size pitch, a 75% pitch and goals would work so much better

As to the noise - I hate football commentary at the best of times (esp when played on radio news, why do they think anyone wants to listen to an over excited commentated screaming a goal in?) but when that commentator is a woman it is 10x worse

one thing that is a little disturbing and must be showing my age - all those young women on the pitch and I fancy the manager - lol
