The reason I questioned you about this is because I know that work would not tolerate what you are doing. Just because its rubbish or no longer in use does not mean you have the right to sell it on. Its theft!

What would happen if you cashed a faulty one into the wholesalers and it was sold on as new and installed into a property and was the result of dangerous incident/fault?

Its not worth it my friend.
