Lincs, i am not getting into this again with you, you know my position, I have made it very clear.

Your previous position was that although the ruling was in favour of the police, it was only because the police are NEVER prosecuted because they fix it this way...you then post another story, without any sense of irony, about a policeman who HAS been prosecuted...there is no point in me wasting time discussing it with the likes of you as if you are caught out on one thing, you just INVENT another point out of the air.

Blas, if this was an off the cuff comment, i'd get it but we have discussed this same thing on like 3-4 other threads.

He seems obsessed with this one subject and the last time he did it he got yawned off.

I've not been shy in bringing such events into the forum for discussion. Indeed I've said I have lost faith in the Police Force and I know a few coppers! As you have pointed out, there are people in many professions that commit crimes. Being the 'upholders' of the law it will always provoke more outrage.

Yeah, I completely agree that their crime is worse for the trust they have betrayed. I even have admitted i advocate a stronger punishment, but I can't conclude that we should think of the police as a criminal gang like Lincs...and this is the 2/3 topic by him on the same subject in a matter of days...just gets old.

Exactly, sickening...but we note it because it is the extreme exception, not because it is the norm.
