is DIYnot on its last legs?

Compared to a short while ago I think its picking up again.
It goes through phases like this if you look back over time.
We have a plethora of different interesting topics, that can sometimes go on for pages before the insults start, as stated.
And then we have the season of insults where if someone so much as asks what time is it, he gets brick batted to death!
This is usually followed by the sensible ones of us staying away or just browsing without posting before it then starts to pick up again.
I wouldn't worry Immi. Its its natural cycle.

Who gives a hoot.
General (lets talk about me) Discussion section is frequented by a bunch of insecure, inward looking keyboard heroes.

I finished the first draft but I've got to go through it all again and re-write some of it. Just haven't had the time yet.

80,000 words in five weeks.

well done !!.... have you got a publisher interested? or do you have to wait until its finished?

Only one in a hundred novels ever get published. Realistically I'll probably release it as a free e-book.

I am not sure how the lack of argumentative and provocative posts from the same old people in the general discussion forum is a gauge for the demise of a DIY site ... when the actual DIY forums are as lively as ever?

Me personally cant see the point in writting a novel about a diy forum.
