I wonder what Swansea players will go with him?
Might reds? Taking swansea best players? Happy days!

I'm not a Liverpool fan, but if you want a man to get them back to the Liverpool of old- playing good football, pass to a red shirt, keep the ball etc then he is your man.

He will let players play football anywhere on the park. Great interview of him on Goals ion Sunday about why he trusts players tto make decsions etc

Love his philosophy, hope he does well

Everything is...to a simpleton.
I would have liked to see Dalglish given another year, and after he went I'd have liked to see Martinez given the job. But I'm happy with the choice of Rodgers as well, glad they never went near Benitez as many wanted or Capello. I just hope they give the man enough time to make an impression, which I suppose they will do unless he really fcks up from the off next season.

They bowed to the fans pressure for KK to be manager! That worked well didnt it?
If they dont hit the ground running and aint in the top four come Feb, the fans will get on his back, then he will be a dead man walking! Dont think hes gonna fancy carrol much either.

If you think they bowed down to the fans to bring in KK as manager you are deluded.....Our owners are ruthless and have sacked managers at other clubs to bring in younger talent. KK was brought in to steady the ship, after Hodgson left it a mess.

Yeah but money didnt help us this year did it, newcastle, arsenal didnt spend the kind of money you did and they finished above us! The most expensive players dont make the best teams! Youd be top four if that was the case!
It got us the Champions league though aye!
Whether you spend 20, 60 , 80 mill, its just the amount of money everyone buys players, the cost is irrelevant.
I wonder how much they will trust BR with......?

It's well known they were on the verge of bankruptcy before Abramovitch stepped in, they'd have done a Leeds if it wasn't for him.
There's more to it than just money though, you've still got to make the players into a "team".
