Opening ceremony?

Dunno, it's certainly different from any other opening ceremony. The way the scenes changed was excellent, although I missed the typical Saturday night city centre scenes, where the p****d up youths come out of the pubs and urinate in shop doorways. The girls vomit into the gutter and I was in Asda's when they showed the riot scenes , complete with Harwood giving some bloke a gentle shove in the back. ;) ;) ;) ;)

PS, I did like the way Her Maj, parachuted into the stadium. Didn't think she'd be up for that, but what the hey.

Jesus H Christ - could it have been any more boring

It's an absolute effing disgrace that the announcements are in French before English

Run and hide Danny Boyle

The Olympics has never seen anything like it, and we should be proud of it .

I agree about the announcements though, English should be first

Did you see the German guy doing the Nazi salute?

Both he and some scriptwriter have been on the TV today waxing lyrical about it....then adding a rather strange disclaimer. Along the lines of 'not everyone will like it, but it is what it is...'

Seems they knew it was pants.

I liked the music part of it by why is everything announced in french first??
I'm thinking it's because "The Olympics" think they are the biggest act around and due deference must be shown to them.

Sorry, but when the Queen is present, She, and by definition, the UK, get the priority.

total waste of money.

bet the drummers are a bit Pis5ed off, theyve been doing it for over an hour now
