If you were God...

Ok, the original question was modified to get you guys warmed up, so now your brain has warmed up, no excuses that I did not give you enough time to think, so I will now revert the question to its original format,

in that room there are just those two guys, no mice dropping sand no mice either, just 2 blokes, A & B, both know there is a fiver, and it doesn't belong to either of them, and each hopes the other hasn't seen it so that who ever gets the first chance snaps it.

So now if B excuses himself and has to go to the loo, and when he returns, the fiver is missing!

So now who took that Fiver, assuming there were no other people who came into the room during all that time and it was just the two of them, no mice no book worms, just them two and lots of clutter!

so who took the fiver A or B?

Typical religious fanatic, change the story half way through when he realizes the majority have seen through his concocted little story.

So now, let us get back to topic, based on this logic,

everything happens in the world for a reason, yes,

there is always something behind something, yes

there is nothing behind nothing, yes,

so now, i ask you, where did the universe come from? you would say the Big bang, yes

so where did the big bang come from? you would say Wendy let off a big one, yes

so where did Wendy come from and where did she get her baked beans from?

you answer that? ;) and remember Heinze did not start making baked beans until 18th century!

NO!! Lets not change the subject! We want to know who took the fiver! We cannot take your word for what happened as you change your mind every two mins.

I think you're not giving us the whole details! I think a prozzie arrived while B was in the loo and took the fiver for services rendered to A.

Pred, Fanatics are only from another religion - if they are your religion they are 'devout' !

Mike. When you say everything happens 'for a reason' do you mean'for a purpose' or as a result of something.

If 'for a purpose' what is this based on?

Reason & purpose are very closely related i think, one can have a different reason for example to join DIYnot Forums, and have a different purpose, as an example the reason you joined the forums was because you wanted to know about something, let us say that you wanted to fix your gas boiler, without fear, so your purpose was to seek knowledge on how to fix gas boilers without the need for you calling an RGI. and equipped with this knowledge, to go and bash that boiler yourself!

So behind every reason there is a purpose, am I right? the question is what comes first, the reason or the purpose?

Joke: behind every successful man there is a a woman, conversely, behind every successful woman there are 20 men! :D

Then you die of carbon monoxide poisoning as you haven't a clue what you're doing again!

Yay!

Tell me where you can get services rendered for a fiver (and what??)?

when people see 1p, 5p, or 10p or often 20p coins on lying the pavements, no one bothers picking it up, as it costs a lot more to bend over! :D

However, those who go out of their way like myself to even pick up a penny, (way to do it without bending over!) do get rewarded because without the last penny, you cannot be a millionaire, as you would be just short of a penny to be classified as a millionaire.

D

Not at all.

A roof tile may fall off for a reason, but it has not happened for a purpose.

I say that there are reasons that things have happened (causes might be clearer) but not necessarily a purpose for them.

LOL! you are right right there, never thought of that, besides what do you expect from prozie roofers changing a tile for a fiver!

I missed Pred's post accusing me of changing my story, Never! I do not change my story, I will stand by and you would never be able to convince me that we emerged from Apes, just the same as I probably wouldn't be able to convince you that God actually exists. (i said convince and not asked for a proof, proof is not always convincing, proofs can be faked, but a logical assumption is hard to fake)

You might be able to convince me with a logical argument. I am quite well versed in religions having spent a long time trying to find a reason to believe in god and failing!

As for evolution you would have to convince me you understood the theory before I looked at your debunkng of it. I would not have to persuade you that man descended from apes as that is not part of the theory, just a creationist interpretation due to lack of knowledge or wilful avoidance.

But feel free to have a go. .

I am not religious at all, so there is no question of even being a fundamentalist, my only belief is that there has to be someone to have created the universe, like I said, I accept the big bang theory, and evolution may then have started and life got formed, and who knows, nobody does at present that may be life got evolved somewhere else first before it did on earth, and those super intelligent beings 10s of thousands of years ahead of us with highly advanced race may have visited us primitives, and convinced us they were God or Gods, or who knows they might have planted life on earth? who knows we might be their Dolly the sheep!

No body knows, however, the point is even if they (the super human beings) themselves were possibly evolved, but I think something must have initiated the big bang, Science cannot explain yet, what might have caused the big bang. and or what was before it, who or what was responsible for its initiation? all those question are still remaining unanswered.

Therefore we might as well say that God was responsible for it, until such time when we got a definite proof that it was not him who initiated it, or being responsible, none of us know much about God, who he is, where he is, what he looks like, why he wanted to create a universe.

i mean today we are trying to make robots that can think like us, and talk to us, understand us, argue with us, or agree with us, and if they could think independently, they would may have feelings like us, and so on, they call us their creator, as we would have created them from the soil, same as we are made out of soil!

So until you can tell me exactly what happened before the big bang, and what was there and what is there now, until it is clear as black and white, until then God does exist.

As people keep asking you, who created that someone who created the universe?
Until you can answer that your 'belief' isn't very believable.

You'll never comprehend as you've got the brain of a cow.
God has no beginning and no ending so cannot be created nor destroyed.
