There is two people dead in nottingham and house demolished this year by something as simple as using cans of expanding foam perhaps its also ultra paranoid to for the cans to say use in well ventilated area .
Garages are more at risk with a open flued appliance simple its not really that hard to take in

With open flued boilers in garages I always think what if the car owner does his own repairs and has the engine running with the doors shut.
The boiler wouldn't be getting starved of oxygen and fed on carbon monoxide.
