Paul Nuttall's statement on UKIP election disaster

I see UKIP-ers are still keen to use the Labour parties' inadequacies to deflect attention away from their beloved and failed party. Poor old RWR's.
How many council seats did Labour lose? 382?...I would suggest that is not so much an inadequacy as a bloodbath...The Limp Dems recieved a right good stuffing too...The Voice of Remain? Yeah! Right

I did see the link and I read it (For once) however a link is not evidence, it is a link to a web page and proves nothing... If links did prove anything, then I could post a link to a website that "Proved" all kinds of disgusting things about you...I shall have my website man design one in the morning if you like..

You see, links to websites are not proof or evidence.....Not even Wiki!
I do agree with you, Firebrand, a link to a website is not evidence.
It is, however, on this occasion, a substantiation by a reputable source that supports and reinforces the original point.

To take an analogy, I could state that E=mc², and provide a link to Einstein's theory. It would not be evidence that E does =mc². But it would be a support from a distinguished source that the point I was making is correct.

Similarly, if you could "post a link to a website that "Proved" all kinds of disgusting things about you" from a distinguished and reputable source, we might accept your assertion.

"I shall have my website man design one in the morning if you like" would not really be considered as a distinguished or reputable source!

But is an independant fact checking charity genuinely independant? or are they simply independant within certain interested parameters? Remember how websites and ementalviralists told us all how clean and healthy diesel cars are, now the same reliable sources want them taken off the road.. The cars haven't changed.

What I normally do is to look behind the usual pages and see who they are, who funds them, who they represent.
Can you provide any evidence or suggestion that your suspicion is warranted?

But what if the people who back them and fund them are a cover for someone else, someone who you can't track down and you don't know it?....You can't always find who is behind these institutions...On what basis do you establish if the source is reputable, it is easy to appear to be a reliable establishment.

Did some people not buy their diesel cars because they were seen as the clean alternative to petrol and are people not now buying electric cars because they are now seen as the green alternative?...

No, I don't. Show us a few of the ones that you say you can remember, let's see what they said.

My guess, and it is only a guess is people supported UKIP only on their pledge to take the UK out of Europe. I would further guess that as this has now effectively been delivered albeit not by their hands, UKIPS underlying racist and devicist policy is not well supported by the General public.

 It is not difficult. Here you go:

Now if you want, you can explore other associated organisations. As you say: "Google is your friend."

Now see if you can find any reputable sites to support your assertions. You have already said you can remember them!
