The Hungarian government

Merkel Said that they would take as many as wanted to come. Unfortunately, even more came than she anticipated, so the problem became where do we put them. Most will classify themselves as refugees, because that gives them privelages, but in reality, at least 7 out of 10 are reckoned to be economic migrants. Many manage to lose their passports, but that's because they could be identified as coming from non war zone countries, so would get rejected.
More invention.

It's sweet that the little bunch who hate foreigners can just make up any lie or distortion, and throw it in as if they thought it was true. Judy has three heads and transam is editor of the daily fail.

It's sad that there are people on this site who have such hatred for foreigners that they will shamelessly invent and circulate lies.

So what are the lies I'm supposed to circulating, and where have I ever said that I hate foreigners. So you think that the UN are lying then.

You seem to have a definite and unadulterated hatred of anyone that doesn't agree with you. whilst the rest of us just make comments that have no hidden agenda behind them.

free movement of people has allowed employers to exploit lower cost labour to the detriment of those who would fill those low skilled jobs. Often they are the same people competing for access to government subsidised services.

In many regards someone who wants to restrict access to cheap imported labour is similar to a union leader.

Hatred of foreigners is something different

More head in the sand.

It's sad that there are those on this site that seem to love foreigners more than their fellow natives.
It is a pity you did not read the article, not just the headline (which was Daily Express interpretation)
The report read: “Many who travel to Libya do so believing they can find jobs were, but end up fleeing onwards to Europe to escape life-threatening insecurity, instability, difficult economic conditions plus widespread exploitation and abuse.”
Thus economic migrants to Libya, then refugees to Europe.

Still an economic migrant in my opinion. Since they have the option to return home.

A refugee has no such ability

employers to exploit lower cost labour

I suppose that's the problem with exploitative practices like zero hours contracts, and a very low minimum wage.

Though for some reason lots of unemployed natives won't pick fruit or take unsocial cleaning jobs.

don't get me wrong "those b***dy foreigners, taking our jobs" is often the cry of the workshy who "wouldn't work in Macdonalds".

I have more of an issue with task based employment contracts than zero hours. Fitters and delivery drivers working their nuts off to hit unreasonable targets just to default to minimum wage after unreasonable deductions etc.. but the employer will argue, that some eastern block Euro country firm will undercut them if they don't.
