Well-run companies will be able to withstand brexit woes. People won't put off their holidays forever with brexit worries - a year or two? The holiday market is saturated and competitive and companies need to be smart to survive as there are some who have gone bust, not necessarily because of brexit.

It’s 1,216,666 holidays. So are they saying they lost it when really they expected to earn it but didn’t? As in 300,000 less families booked holidays with them?

It really might have been smart for them to anticipate that people would choose non-EU (or UK) holidays with all the remoaner doomsayers talking up visas and queues at EU airports.
They've had nearly 2 years to consider the impact of a weaker £ and take steps to mitigate. The reality is package holidays are in decline as people no longer want to go to Torremolinos for 2 weeks all-inclusive, butlins in the sun holidays.
Can anyone tell me how much airbnb shrank over the same period? I'm assuming they also suffered because of Brexit.

I am shocked that we still have high street travel agents. The ones left are almost always empty. Plus, I had a terrible experience with one of them (forget if Thomas Cook or Thompsons) and it cost me more to fix the balls-up booking they did, never used one since.
Ah yes...
Blame it all on the remainers when the chickens come home to roost...
