Intergas boiler

You certainly wouldn't save gas by switching it on. It's a comfort setting
What provision was made for any incidents of the flap sticking in the ( partially ) shut position when the boiler was commanded to fire up ? As I understand it there is no differential air presure switch monitoring air flow into the combustion chamber. How would the control system know that there was inadequate air flow for completer combustion ?

Did you really just ask that??

I guess that's why they shouldn't let amateurs comment on gas appliances

Thats answers my question then and makes my mind up.

I didn’t know whether if the boiler was well insulated as someone earlier said then keeping it pre heated may cost less than keep warming it from scratch.

You will save water by having it on. You need to balance one against the other.

Was that directed at me?

Just because you don't know something doesn't make you stupid.

It's your attitude that shows you as an idiot.

Funny I have never you during training sessions at HQ in the Netherlands. Perhaps you don't know everything..........
I have read what you write and in the past ripped you apart.

This is what you get with Gassafe course men picked up from the street.

So with confirmation from an Intergas brochure tthat there is no air pressure switch can you explain how the boiler ensures it does not fire up when there is inadquate air flow.

Tacho feed back from the fan would confirm fan speed but not confirm that the fan was able to drive the correct volume of air.

Lucky me I've hooked two divvys at once

Explain how a zero governor gasvalve works please Bernard

There hasn't been a mainstream domestic boiler with an air pressure switch used for combustion proving for years................

It's lucky that no one takes you seriously but I am a little concerned that you appear to be having fantasies about me.

The fact remains you are wrong there is no advantage to fitting both OT and wired WC to an Intergas boiler. Resorting to your usual childish insults will not change that

Idiot, you started the insults, not me. In general both Opentherm room sensor and outside temperature sensor can be applied to the control system. As Intergas do not do it, it is out of your experience. The man in the course did not tell you. It is not in the folder.

And you're still making yourself look stupid. You was talking specifically about Intergas boilers and you are wrong. I have made no insults

There would be no point, you clearly have issues that we should be understanding of

I was not specifically on about Intergas never mentioning them. A decent control system sets the flow temp to the outside temp. Then drops he flow temp even further when setpoint is being reached. When a building is up to temperature, the flow temp can be quite low. Now you know.

You need to look back at your posts. Boy he forgets quickly.
