John Deere.
American made

John Deere German made :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
"THE production line at John Deere’s flagship factory in Europe is one of those things that almost must be seen to be believed.

Churning out tractors at the astonishing rate of one every three minutes, the factory — spread over more than 40ha in Mannheim, an industrial city of sorts of about 300,000 people in southwest Germany"

and America doesnt make its own cars:

"Every US-made car is an import. That's bad news for automakers"

"All new cars sold in the United States will cost more — to build and probably to buy — if the Trump administration imposes an auto tariff.
That's because every car sold in America is at least partly imported."

America does not make cars  ??

:)

what nonsense

And the USA still the most dominant economic and military power in the world boyo.
God bless America and God bless Mr Trump.

must admit I never noticed them

What the wildest thing you ever did in your transam?
I drove a pontiac firebird across a florida interstate highway grass embankment to do a U turn and got fined for doing so. It was like a huge dip between the lanes.:ROFLMAO:

lack of info on the USA in the UK amazes me. This is a for instance

LOL look at the dates. They must have joined the EU couldn't possibly be any other reason could there. That also finished off a lot of their car manufacturers. They also totally believe in free markets as well just like some here. The above has a lot to do with why Trump was elected.

As an aside, after shutting down manufacturing, and being ordered to pay fines in respect of the 'emissions sandal', Germany might be lucky to remain in the top ten.

John Deere produces about 36 billion dollars of kit per year, less than 10% is made in Germany.

I had use of a 1976 formula fire bird many years ago for a long week end picked it up on the Friday and took it back on the Monday

By 76 they had been strangled with low compression engines smogg crap ect

How ever this particular fire bird had been fitted with a 9.6 V8  plus a host of tuning bits

It probably made some thing like 700 bhp dunno but it was staggeringly quick scary tbh
No drivers aids

Did about 10 to the gallon at best

At that time there was not much u would come across on the road that would live with it.

Well. Not in a straight line any way :)

Handling was lively

You would tangle with the boy racers and leave em for dead on a decent road but than u would come to a round a bout at the end of the road that was were the problem was :)

Never bought the car wish I had tbh

Had some fun in that car

Some bloke in a porshe tail.gating got a shock when he thought he would out gun her onto the m25
