Briefly, just fitted a outside lantern for my aunt. Replaced the shoddy one which hadn't been working for years. Turned off the mains as the cable goes to a junction box and then main box.
Connected L, N and earth. Secured the lantern then put the main electric back. Light bulb lit up but couldnt get it to switch off. Turned the sensitivity screw but stayed on.
For now I've removed the bulb until I've got some answers.
Oddly enough, left the bulb lit went into house for 15 min to read instructions then I got to porch had a look out the window bulb was out. Waved my hand in front of sensor and lit back up. But then stayed on. Photo attached. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
