What have you bought today?

My wife bought a Falcon bird scarer. Trouble was she thought it was the type on a very high flexible rod but it's one that attaches to a wall on a hoop.
Now been tasked with making something to sit it on a high pedestal so that it spins in the wind. No problem designing something but I have to do it with whatever materials I have in my shed of tricks. LOL
Should have fun tomorrow.

You just need a bit of "four be two be four be two" (y)

That's what I have. Did you get the patio cleaning attachment?
No. I couldn’t get the package with the patio scrubber and I couldn’t get one separately so I just bought the machine - B&Q were the only place that had one that I could get my hands on yesterday. Wish I’d had thought about it a day earlier though - I could have got £50 cashback on it but the offer expired on Sunday. I’m going to get the T450 patio scrubber as that one has a pointed front that gets right into corners. Also going to get the foam gun, rotating car brush and wheel cleaner. Might even get the gutter tool too. I do love an accessory! :D

They are incredible and do 20 times the work that the lance does and it is effortless. You just pull the trigger and it kind of floats around the patio cleaning it to within an inch of its life without the concentrated lined scowling that the lances provide. You have to have one Mottie.

I'm still baffled how it works - but work they do. Pop round and borrow mine.

Going to try to order all those accessories today but just wanted to get the patio cleaned today as furniture coming tomorrow so it’ll be a shorts and flip-flop job although when I have the lance on the full power swirly setting, it doesn’t splash half as much as my other one although it’s the corners that give you a bit of splashback! I’m going to hold off on the front drive until my scrubber arrives.

You'll kick yourself. The scrubber is more uniform and almost zero effort. thjere is little to it either and still baffles me how well it works...

Nearly had one yesterday! The Karcher shop said they had sold their last kit (k7 machine plus T450 scrubber) on Friday but It was being returned because the owner didn’t have the water flow to get full power and was going for a smaller machine. Literally had been out of the box and used once. Said I could have it and they would date the receipt for Friday so I could get the cashback plus I get one extra years warranty as buying from a dealer so six years guarantee in total. Told me to check my water flow first which I did, phoned back and said I’ll have it. After cashback, it would have cost me just a few quid more for the kit than I paid for just the machine. When I phoned back later that afternoon to check that it had been returned, it had been but they’d sold it. All I could do was tell him what a **** he was and go to B&Q.

I would think the front drive would be an inappropriate place to 'hold off' until your scrubber arrives.
Wait indoors behind the curtains, there's a good lad ;)

Yesterday I was given a new brush cutter for my lockdown b'day. You know when you're getting old when you ask for practical things...
Oh, and an ornament for the garden of a cat killing gnomes... not so practical and a little strange! :)

I wouldn't mind having a cat killing gnome - it would soon be a very fat gnome.
