Is there no difference between "reducing transmission" and "eliminating transmission?"

There is no such scenario as eliminating transmission in a care home.
But when the visitors are following strict distancing measures and divided by a large screen then they pose a very low threat in comparison to the staff.

So closing the doors is an obvious kowtowing exercise to beuracratic nonsense.
The scamdemic rolls on.

Are you sure?

Is there no difference between "reducing transmission" and "eliminating transmission?"

Your question should be directed to IT Minion.
He (?) did not dispute Ryler's account, where the measures were employed yet access was also denied .

My question was addressed to the person who wrongly said

...you are also saying then is that wearing a face covering , hand sanitising, physical screens and social distancing are ineffective.

They reduce transmission, so they are not ineffective

They do not eliminate transmission, therefore visitors increase the risk.

Your inference is incorrect.

Like I said, take it up with the person who said it.
Unless you're just trolling me again.

They reduce transmission

So a large screen in a care home and the visitor 10 feet from the person they are visiting and you claim transmission is reduced?

So if transmission is reduced as you claim then people must have been infected under such measures in the first place?

You are spouting bollix as usual.

Care homes would never have opened their doors if their was any logic in what you say.

No very little of this occurred in the early days.

What exactly are you saying?
You seem to be claiming that social distancing of 10 feet, mask wearing, hand sanitizing and a large screen barrier are useless.

If this transmission occured with those measures in place then provide the evidence.

Like I said, take it up with the person who said it.

I did, that's you.

Though ryler is also trying the "you seem to be saying" trick to put words into someone else's mouth.

Like you.

Yes it is effective, but little of these measures were in place, during the early days of the Pandemic.

Yes it is somewhat effective,

So care homes are opening their doors and using measures that are deemed "somewhat effective"?

Where is the official wording that deems 10 feet of social distancing, mask wearing, hand sanitizing and a large screen barrier to be "somewhat effective"?
