I’ll start this afresh as some idiot on here is persisting in trying to turn the other thread into yet another Brexit thread. No prizes for guessing who.
Anyway, there’s some splendid restoration work being done on our local windmill. I’ve been inside it many years ago when we first moved round here in 1990. Having a mechanical background I found it very interesting. It’s taken a few years and a lot of funding to get to the final stretch. Nearing completion now, the cap and sails were sent to Holland for restoration and are now back. Specialists are over here finishing it off.
